Six months is definitely not enough time to properly get to know a city like Berlin. You’d needs years for that, but six months is enough time to at least gather a collection of favourite cafes, restaurants, bakeries, ice cream parlours, etc., which I would love to pass on to you.
Six of us jetted down to Cabo for 4 days, 3 nights and stayed in a beautiful villa on the ocean, close to San Jose del Cabo. It was my first lengthy time away from Noah (previously I'd only been away for a night) so I was a bit of an emotional mess the night before leaving but I'm sure my current, healthy levels of hormones added to that. I knew I'd be able to disconnect once I was away and what a treat it was.
Think heat, think design, think beautiful people, and architecture. Think desert, think swimming pools, think palm trees and stunning mountain backdrops. Palm Springs is unlike anywhere I’ve been. Its quirky, its cool and it is fun. An awesome spot for a little weekend away so its no surprise that its one of the top picked getaways for people living in LA.
What better way to celebrate spring than in the middle of beautiful flower fields!? These may not be the tulip fields of Holland, but they are pretty amazing in their own right. Ranunculus are some of my absolute favourite flowers so my happy levels were pretty high up there!
Here's to sunsets, sandy, salty kisses, quesadillas, tan lines, tacos, being a complete lightweight when it comes to margaritas, lazy afternoons, laughing at our silly little toddler, feeling re-energized emotionally (not necessarily physically - hah), feeling blessed, happy and thankful.
